Post the output of the system diagnostics (look under the Tools menu).

I see - you are not currently running RT firmware. Well, we need to see a copy of your environment. Login to the router via telnet or ssh, and supply the output of this command:

Code: Select all

cat /proc/ticfg/env

Well, your environment is certainly missing a whole load of stuff - e.g.,
HWA_0 (which should contain the router's ethernet MAC address)
HWA_3 (which should contain the router's DSL MAC address)
And it is also missing all the WLAN_EEPROM* variables, so your wireless will probably not work.

The solution is for you to restore the environment that was saved by the RUC before you upgraded. This is one of the text files generated by the RUC, and starts with "env ...."

Use the Telnet scripter (viewtopic.php?t=282) to run the "env...." text file generated by the RUC as a script.

If you can connect to the router with the pctool, then you can use the pctool to run the same script. You need to read the de-bricking threads, especially this: viewtopic.php?t=335

Why are you concerned? If it is working as it should, then you shouldn't be too bothered.
