According to this you can't unblock that particular model.

Although similar BT models like the 2091 can apparently be unlocked by using other (non-BT) firmware.

The only way to "unlock" these routers is to flash the firmware to an unlocked version. The problem is of course finding a compatable firmware and a way to flash it; the locked firmware will of course check the new one you are trying to upgrade to so the web upgrade form in the interface wouldn't allow you to update to a non-bt firmware even if you found a compatable one.

if there is a flash upgrade available then maybe you could change the details in it with a hex editor before you upload it - it may be too dumb to have checksums :)

voyager 210 unlocked firmware

Edited by Martyn to provide a single zip file as multi-zip file was causing some users problems.

Given that is an official BT site, how is this firmware going to be any more unlocked than what is already on the Voyagers?

The roi-v301z version that you posted is different to the version on the voyager site. That is the reason that I asked for it's source.

It's difficult to tell really, gfanini, what is the license associated with this firmware?

According to this http://www.voyager.bt.com/gpl_code/gpl_index.htm
the voyager210 uses GPL code.

I believe I may have over-moderated on a post and removed both halfs of a duplicate.
greengf, I believe you were asking if anyone had any news on the firmware posted by gfanini?
