Re: idea for heavy p2p
i changed my mind, instead of asus i'll buy http://www.netgear.com/products/service-providers/routers-and-gateways/gigabit-ethernet-routers-gateways/WNR3500L.aspx :d it costs less and is good enough from hardware point, plus i can install custom firmware :lovesight: seeing as how most routers have 1...

Re: idea for heavy p2p
yes, asus can do NAT and firewall, so i just turn everything off in routertech router correct?
what do you mean by "just make sure that the Asus is in a different IP range"? if asus has NAT it's not enought? shoudn't it not care about what ip it has on the ethernet?

idea for heavy p2p
I have a ROADSL2P-WG router with routertech firmware, unfortunately it "dies" from time to time. I need to download from p2p :D so limiting the connection numbers is not a good option for me. So i was thinking of buying the http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Asus_RT-N16 which is advertised to have...

Re: RouterTech Firmware 2.94 Discussion
Hellow, i successfully upgrade from 2.93 to 2.94 on my roper router  i am trying to disable the http server from auto-loading on startup with the command from FAQ Disable the http server from being loaded (with "setenv http_port=none && /sbin/reboot") but it doesn't work, on reboot it still...

Re: RouterTech Firmware 2.93 Discussion
i mean i scheduled so that the router would restart every day at 5am, but when the router restarts it boots up with a wrong date and time, so if i correct the time with snmp it will restart really at 5 am otherwise it will restart when it "thinks" it is 5am but in real world it isn't 5 am

Re: RouterTech Firmware 2.93 Discussion
hellow, i have successfully upgraded to 2.93 from 2.91.1 but i have some questions, when you say 10. We have further rationalised the dsp drivers included in the firmware, going for greater stability, and providing only low end (dsp62) and high end (dsp75) in most cases. The 1350A wireless firmware ...

Re: RouterTech Firmware 2.93 Discussion
i had the same problem "router hanging" with the 2.92 and now i'm reading the same things about 2.93 and i'm affraid to upgrade, at the moment i'm using 2.91.1 at least it usually lasts 24hours, until it automatically reboots during night with a cron job

Re: RouterTech Firmware 2.91.1 Discussion
the router died again :stun: , with everything off after 150 hours of up time, i've been using it for surfing the web and uTorrent with 50connections, connected by cable to make it last longer :damnall: is there some way to make it automatically reboot, like every day at 5am? maybe even on...

Re: RouterTech Firmware 2.91.1 Discussion
Questions: 1. Do you need to run igmp proxy? [if not, then turn it off] 2. Do you need to run upnp? [if not, then turn it off] 3. What is the maximum concurrent connection limit on your torrenting? [if it is too high, you will get crashes - try limiting it to 20 in the first instance] what is igmp ...
