Re: Outputting Multiple Networks

Ensure that you have disabled multiple SSIDs, Guest network / SSID in router.
Check how many networks appear on a smartphone or some other device which is not a computer.
Then clean windows networks list and Change your network SSID as well as channel and add it again.

They stay open all the time and spammers keep trying to connect to the router according to the logs. Worse yet, access to modem config is open from wan and and the bad d...

dropbear bad password attempt for 'root' from <IP>

I saw these entries in the log dropbear[1018]: bad password attempt for 'root' from 59.39.66.30:62783 yesterday, there was a similar error telling about a failed attempt for a "non existing user". What is this access attempt about? is someone trying to access modem configuration or is he trying to c...

Re: Aztech 605EW two antenna asian version (Malaysia)

hi. Thanks for the response. I thought i should report as i was using the latest possible firmware.
Moreover, there is a warning on ethernet ports. What is it? Even if i am successful in moving to RT latest firmware, i would not like to have issues with ethernet ports.

Re: is it possibe to extract firmware from aztech dsl605ew

aztech 605ew with two antenna
ftp://ftp.aztech.com/support/MALAYSIA/ADSL/
"DSL605EW Firmware v120.106m.1-019.zip" seems more stable at my end.
