I predict a healthy Ebay market in Sky routers with V1 firmware, as techies start longing for the freedom it gives them. Pe...

Just been reading this: http://www.skyuser.co.uk/forum Perhaps, then, it's only routers sold after a specific (very recent!) date, with the most recent firmware? :? Well, as I said in that thread, I only received my router last week, and your utility works. Perhaps there's a different batch, or per...

Just when you think it can't get any worse, it gets even worse! A true example of how not to do business.

Nobody can login. So, it is not you. :) Probably the others are still able to post because they were logged in before and had not logged out (some settings on the browser?). Like I said before, they have messed up their own forum, and new users cannot register, neither can existing users who logged ...

Very interesting discussion going on at the other side. Seems like Mr Relentless is likely to get himself banned for being too relentless ...

The same way you use it to flash a firmware image. Click "download", select the kernel.bin file, when that finishes, click on "download" again, and select the fs.bin file. When that finishes, reboot.

Seems my last response was sent twice.

Explaining #1 again. The SC pctool comes with some files (SWAMR-54108.360A.kernel.bin and SWAMR-54108.360A.fs.bin). Flash those onto the router using the pctool. That is what it means :)

I will tell you how I recovered my router from the V5 debacle. Against my better judgment (because posting this publicly will also help the clueless jokers on the other side) I am posting this here, rather than by PM: 1. Flash back to the kernel and filesystem that came with the SC version of the pc...

If routerkiller is from RT, why would he own up here? SC bods read this thread. And they usually lurk around in disguise. But we know who they are, don't we?
