Re: Replacing Adam2 booloader with PSP bootloader

The amount of flash is 2 MB, of RAM 8 MB. And you're right, the router isn't there. My bad, I thought I posted it.

Oh, ok. The manufacturer was already added some time ago in the "Comprehensive compatibility list" topic. It's AMD.

Re: Replacing Adam2 booloader with PSP bootloader

Greetings to all the good people on this forum, I have a small problem regarding adsl modem D-link DSL-362T. It is with a one-port ethernet switch, and is based on adam2 bootloader. Could anyone help me find a suitable pspboot bootloader to put in this device? All the pages I've been on have some li...

Re: Best router for portfowarding

You may not know what you actually need. Any affordable router is able to forward ports. And your games? To play them, you need a well-set-up internet connection. As for the actual speed, 4 Mb/s might be enough to play any of those games but my personal recommendation is at least 8 Mb/s. Although ha...

Re: slow performance with 2.96

Your environment appears to be slightly fragmented but not to the point that it influences the operation. In my opinion, you have very little RAM (8 MB, according to your log approx. 6). When you are torrenting, you deplete the memory and router becomes unresponsive. The solution is to replace your ...

Re: speedstream5450

Sorry, I was mistaken. I accidentaly looked at another post elsewhere. You have the right address. Try Wireshark or some similar utility to see the ip address of your router.

Re: speedstream5450

when i type telnet 192.168.254.254... This will not help you at all. This address belongs to APIPA range. It basically means that your router's DHCP server isn't working properly. You need to telnet the IP address of your router, which is (probably) 192.168.1.1. At least all Routertech firmwares ha...

Re: RouterTech Firmware 2.96 Discussion
And why do you think "enforce MRU" invalidates those MRU/MTU settings nearby?
I didn't say that. Simply watch the picture. "Enforce MRU" will ensure that the value in the red box will be applied. Otherwise, it would always be 1500, no matter the settings.

Re: RouterTech Firmware 2.96 Discussion

Can you explain your vision of "enforcement" any why to set it? The 1400 value is better because you can display some web pages, which are inacessible with MRU=1500. You have to enforce it because otherwise your DSLAM would connect to the router with the MRU=1500. And really - this only works on th...

Re: RouterTech Firmware 2.96 Discussion

Err... I don't get your point. I wanted to say that the "enforced" value is only for the router and DSLAM communication. It has nothing to do with the MRU value set by TCP Optimizer in Windows. As for the rest of your post, I really don't know what you are talking about. Can you express yourself li...

Re: RouterTech Firmware 2.96 Discussion

And why "enforce MRU" is set by default? The reason why PC can't handle router's (TCP/IP) downstream correctly? This value is not about the MRU in your computer. It is the value your router communicates with your assigned DSLAM. The default DSLAM MRU value is mostly 1500, so that's why it is forced...

Different versions of PSPBoot

Hello, can anyone explain to me basic differences among specific versions of PSPBoot? They look all the same to me. For example 1.2.5.9 and 1.4.0.4. Is the higher version better or is it in fact irrelevant?

Re: D-Link G604T keeps disconnecting

I still get disconnected and reconnected after 10 or so minutes of being online Well, your problem is that your margin values are poor. Either fix your home phone wiring, or set the modulation to "G.Dmt_bis". Actually fixing the wires in your house won't probably help much. For example my margin va...
