Re: Replacing Adam2 booloader with PSP bootloader

Hi The Chief, Many thanks for your help. 1 - If I do understand, it's impossible to use FTP protocol with RT firmware on 2mb flash routers ? Re: Replacing Adam2 booloader with PSP bootloader

Be careful. The router has an Intel(compatible) flash chip, and those kinds of flash chips have proved very troublesome. If you have functional JTAG and a backup of your current bootloader, then you can go ahead and try changing it. If not, then don't attempt to change the bootloader. The risk of t...

Re: DynDNS setup

An incomplete diagnostic is not of much use (especially one in which the system log has been cleared), but, from what I can see, it updated at 9.43am - and it should always update every time the WAN IP address changes. If it doesn't update on every external IP change, then you will need to find a w...

Re: DynDNS setup

You put in your ddns domain name (e.g., skybub.dyndns.org) Hi The Chief, thanks for this information. The setting I made was initially correct, I put it back, rebooted the modem and everything appears OK now. So I wonder if the RT firmware do update the IP address with dyndns when the ISP change it...

Re: Help needed to configure Port forwarding (DMZ)

OK, I've found the solution : there was no problem (even if you leave DHCP server on) ! Actually, when you enter external IP of your modem/router on your browser, the modem doesn't send you on Internet, it stays in local mode : so, it display his configuration page instead of the one of the NETGEAR....

Re: Netgear DG834G V2 - RT install

Hi,

I've been told that the DG834v2 has got the same hardware than the DG834v1.

Anybody has tried to install RT firmware on the v1 ?

Help needed to configure Port forwarding (DMZ)

Hi, I've got a modem router (an AZTECH DSL600EU) running RouterTech firmware which I want to forward everything to a NETGEAR router. The AZTECH (running Routertech firmware) has been plugged onto the WAN port of the NETGEAR gigabit router and I tried to configure it like this (after a 30/30/30 reset...
