Re: I bricked my aztech dsl 605ew

I think it runs pppd after it syncs dsl. Like I said I'm having a problem with my isp and hoping for them to fix it. I just wanted your opinion about env. settings, maybe I'll try reflashing again. Is there a way to fully format the router? Like somehow reverting env. to default settings? (Unfortuna...

Re: I bricked my aztech dsl 605ew

Strange, firmware tool generated that setting. I looked at multimode under modem options and all of them were checked. And under modem status page router was trying to connect every mode possible. I should still remove that though. Edit: I just checked firmware tool and there was no modulation setti...

Re: I bricked my aztech dsl 605ew

I have that line on my current working env, there is nothing wrong with it right? Actually can you look through that env and tell me if there is anything wrong with it? I have system call errors when my router tries to connect with ppoa. I only have 1 connection setup. I tried to reset again but can...

Re: I bricked my aztech dsl 605ew

That's exactly what happened with rrt using telnet. Only when i discovered that i can do the same with pctool that i fixed my problem. I kinda thought about file format, should have tried changing it. :|

Re: I bricked my aztech dsl 605ew

This env is a bit messy because I had lost the original one. I added most of the missing things later myself to fix wireless. setenv BUILD_OPS 0x301 setenv bootloaderVersion 1.4.0.4 setenv ProductID AR7WRD setenv IPA 192.168.1.1 setenv MAC_PORT 0 setenv MEMSZ 0x01000000 setenv FLASHSZ 0x00400000 set...

Re: I bricked my aztech dsl 605ew

I fixed it by creating a new env file with firmware tool and uploaded it using pc-tool. What I don't understand is I used the env file I created with 2.94 firmware and later used it on 2.94 again. This, for some reason prevented router from booting.

I bricked my aztech dsl 605ew

The router doesn't seem to accept any firmware anymore. The router repair tool says flashing was succesfull and waits for router after reboot and just stays like that. Pc-tool just crashes after sending the firmware file. This all started to happen when i tried to restore env backup. And the router'...

Re: RouterTech Firmware 2.94 Discussion

One more question, can openvpn on router act as a client?(i looked at the pdf but it only mentions about server) It seems to be easier to use it to connect to my vpn provider than pptp.

Re: Backing up led config

I should have looked at the forum thoroughly. I loaded the configuration above with ledcfg but of course it doesn't work correctly , so if you can add it to next firmware release i would appreciate it. :) Also i had a problem with wireless not working after i returned to routertech firmware, it didn...
