Re: RouterTech Firmware 2.97 Discussion
I'm sure answer is no but figured I'd ask. Are there any Gbond modems that routertech firmware supports?

Re: Speed Issues any advice?
Was this ever resolved? I don't think I ever saw any margins posted. might be called margin might be called SNR depending on software. Line attenuation too. Just overall line quality statistics. the DSLAM will force train lower speeds if margins are really low. Might even force you to interleaved in...

Re: RouterTech Firmware 2.97 Discussion
Was just looking at homepage and wow, last release was 4 and a half years ago. I still remember when it came out. Time sure does fly. Still solid even today and still blowing ISPs bad hardware/software out of water. may 2.97 last forever!

Re: RouterTech Firmware 2.97 Discussion
Forgive me if asked. I did a search but couldn't really find Relevant info. Are there any routers, running this firmware, that support ipv6? not necessarily DHCP, but an ipv6 internet address from ISP?

Re: RouterTech Firmware 2.97 Discussion
I'm having to reboot maybe once a week do to "read /dev/ppp: Value too large for defined data type" Searching google shows a ton of results but none of which exactly saying the cause, other than maybe it's just a flat out kernel bug in ppp code? Fortunately once a week is no big deal, just figured I...

Re: RouterTech Firmware 2.97 Discussion
Nah, wireless is disabled. they wouldn't get into it without a hard line. Doing some research it seems to be caused by upnp, in fact i googled it and found an old thread on HERE haha. https://www.routertech.org/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=3117 Of course it didn't tell me much other than it's probably a supe...

Re: RouterTech Firmware 2.97 Discussion
Got a weird bug today. First time I've seen it. Internet got REALLY slow and was this way all day. I thought it was ISP all day because i'm used to ISP being bad. I finally realized it wasn't ISP at all, but router. It was like router CPU was being hogged by something. I checked system log and saw T...

Re: RouterTech Firmware 2.97 Discussion

Right now mine looks like RT_init_rshaper1 rshaperctl 192.168.1.4 114688 RT_init_rshaper3 rshaperctl 192.168.1.8 114688 RT_init_rshaper2 rshaperctl 192.168.1.5 114688 adblo...

Re: RouterTech Firmware 2.97 Discussion
Can you add in a rshaper feature to simply "rshape EVERYONE except IP x.x.x.x" At this moment I have about 11 internet devices, 10 of which i have to rshape to prevent the 11th important work device from lagging out. Really needs to be an easier way to do this than to setup 11 static ip addresses ju...

Re: How to use adblock.sh
A very old thread but what I need is far more than just adding one or two urls. I have about 50 domains I need to inject into the adblock temp file on router boot. Because I have a PS4 and because sony's coding is such utter bad and they decided a system with 8 gigs of ram should allocate so little ...

Re: Can't disable force_dns
Bah, the bug is actually a typo on firmware-faq/features.html
I just realized proceeed had too many "e" in it, I didn't catch it because I faithfully copied and pasted from the features article.

Can't disable force_dns
So, I mistook block.sh with adblock.sh and ran it. Now I cannot undo the damage it's brought. This information from docs is not valid "block_baddies_undo.sh - to undo what was done by block_baddies.sh (the router will be rebooted afterwards). To prevent this command being executed accidentally, you ...

Re: RouterTech Firmware 2.97 Discussion
the power light is always red, 100% of time, but rest of LEDS are correct. Is the sor605 wireless LED file even loaded on the non 1350 firmware? Check "Tools->RT Configurations" I did, is that list under it the only options available? the boot loader still has the LED config from old firmware set t...

Re: RouterTech Firmware 2.97 Discussion
Yay, it's fixed. I installed standard wireless firmware, switched dsp to 7.5, and all issues are resolved. Hardware is working correctly under this version of firmware and DSL driver, so the issue has to be my ISPs bad middle of no where boonies equipment and 7.1 driver just not being worth a bad de...

Re: RouterTech Firmware 2.97 Discussion
Does the standard non wireless still have 7.5 and rshaper and upnp? those are about only features i care about, i have never used wireless nor ever plan to. But i also know other things are stripped besides wireless from the non wireless firmwares. What other features are stripped?
