Would it be possible to hook up some hard disk onto 600EW's USB port and run NAS server from the router?

Re: RouterTech Firmware 2.94 Discussion

What are the theoretical differences between dsp70A and dsp75A? I'm looking for something robust.

Re: 600EW wireless boost

There are lots of 'Extra' settings such as Channel Range with Power (dB) in routertech wireless page. Does any of those setting boost the transmit power? You could start by checking them out in the Ti Home Gateway Guide... http://www.ixbt.com/comm/adsl/acorp-lan-422/3.7.1_nspwebcfg.pdf Jim Thanks. ...

1. Why isn't there MTU setting? Just MRU. 2. Will you add led.conf for D-Link 500T into next firmware release if i post .conf here? PS. 2.30 saved my life cause i needed AnnexM modulation, but original firmware (3.02) is very buggy and looks like nobody cares of it. Just to confirm, RT firmw...

You can apply your LED settings by running a setenv command in your router GUI. It's written in the instructions of the firmware.

I have a 500T lying as a backup. Tell me about the results when you get some time to try it out. ;)

I tried to access /etc/sysdef.xml through telnet but it says permission denied. Can I actually modify myself at the moment? Because my computer boots faster then the modem starting. :P

Hello! I've flashed my 600EW with v2.2 firmware. Everything works fine but it takes a longer time to get that "Internet" LED to light up. I browse through the log and I find delays everytime I boot the router. Sometimes, the delay can be over 50 seconds. Why is there a delay and how can I resolve it...
