The upgrade has worked in the past for other SART2-4112 routers so there should be no problems. Flashing a firmware always has some element of risk though, so if you have any doubts do not try it. ddns etc are setup for a specific connection - you can have many. If you add a new connection or change from pppoa to pppoe you may change from connection0 to connection1 for example (friendly name shown in GUI) you will have to re-enter ddns as they have separate entries in the config.
