i am using SART2-4112...it's original firmware has QOS function...i can also upgrade to routertech firmware...will that work?

i have a small lan of 6 pcs connected to a switch and then to the router i mean direct connection for each pc(no server).one user is heavy downloader and is consuming all the bandwidth causing slow browsing to us.does enabling qos for his ip as low priority and us as high priority will slove the pro...

i tried JMK firmware and many safecom firmwares for my conexant based REPOTEC IP1800 and they worked....can i do it again?
