Hi can you explain what you mean by low level? There must be a way or rectifying the problem I would of thought that a brick router was more serious but maybe not it seems.

Linksys WRT1900acs V2 Firmware.

Can someone please tell me if there is a firmware which will replace the stock firmware I looked on the OpenWrt Wiki compatible routers but the site is almost impossible to navigate on if you click on a recommended firmware it takes you to a directory with loads of firmware which for a novice is tot...

Re: Force broadcast ARP on the wan link

What WAN connection type is that? ARP only applies to Ethernet comms on local lan segment AFAIK, and devices do fall out of the arp/neighbour table after about 5 minutes. But it is just a matter of timing out on no traffic can't you just ping the ISP gateway or DNS server every few minutes as a kee...

Force broadcast ARP on the wan link

My ISP requires Force broadcast ARP on the wan link which was added to my Netgear router with a 3rd party firmware by the DGTeam. I have recently updated to a new Billion router which is now suffering the same fate no through put (loss of routing) if left for more than about 15mins without any data ...

Re: Netgear DG834GT telnet CMD

Sorry, but I don't understand what exactly this means. All I know is that if (echo 0 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/neigh/default/ucast_solicit echo 0 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/neigh/all/ucast_solicit echo 0 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/neigh/nas0/ucast_solicit) this script is written to the boot sector of any of the Net...
