Status of the Linux DNS issue?

Hi all, It's been a while... ;) Anyway, I'm setting up a WIFI LAN for my partner (who's laptop runs Ubuntu 7.10 - she's been converted!) so I dug out my old SWAMR-54108 and shoved the RT2.3 firmware on it, seems to boot okay and stuff, but I was wondering: Is the old Linux DNS issue still around? Still going strong here after 1 day and a couple of hours uptime, UPnP enabled and no problems yet. I've also noticed that 'DSL out of sync' messages don't appear in the system log now. The connection seems a little more stable, before it would drop once a day or so for a minute since being upgraded...

With MSN/Live Messenger they could be hanging due to dodgy UPnP on the router, so try disabling UPnP via the web interface to see if that has any effect.
