Yeah, the thread helped, thanks
I've guessed at the =1 part originally and it didn't work. Looks like the 'begin' and 'end' were required - it worked with them present.

Automate connection/disconnection
I'd like to automate connection / disconnection of my DSL. I've looked in the source of the DSL settings page, and found that the connect/disconnect command are: encaps#:pppoa:command/start encaps#:pppoa:command/stop where # is the number of the connection (2 in my case) However, when I try executin...

Ok, this was me being stupid :) MULTI_MODE was not enabled after hard reset, and after enabling it and clicking "save all ->>", I thought it had saved the setting. Turns out I had to also press the Save All button. The router now works fine :) Thanks for the firmware and the help. edit: One small th...

Well, I've decided to bite the bullet and did a hardware reset after writing the firmware with pctool Result: Web interface works, however DSL does not connect. The link led blinks a few times and shuts off (happens a few times in succession, with a short delay), the web interface shows "DSL Carrier...

My router is 600E - it only has an ethernet connection. I've tried to connect to both 192.168.1.1 with myself being 192.168.1.1 / 255.255.255.0 and 10.0.0.138 with myself being 10.0.0.1 / 255.255.255.0 I also tried 10.0.0.3 for myself and connecting to 10.0.0.1 Assuming I reset the factory defaults,...

PC was set to static IP 192.168.1.3 (for pctool to work :)) router was not pingable at all, I tried turning it off, on again and waiting ~5 minutes. The firmware it came with runs out of memory if you access the router after it powered on, before ~1-2 minutes have elapsed :) Something i've noticed, ...

Upgrading Aztech-DSL600E - failure
Hello, After poking around in my new router's busybox goodness, I found, to my horror, that it has the dreaded isp/isp login. So, I've tried to upgrade my Aztech-DSL600E, after the RUI tool told me it was probably compatible with routertech-ar7rd-pspboot-1port-firmware-20070604 However, after the fl...
