OK thanks for that well today I went and brought myself a bargain Netgear Wireless-N 150 Modem Router (DGN1000) for less than 40 quid.

So will get it setup soon after I've made notes of my ADSL modulating codes (I know it's G.DmT something) and let you know what it's like.

No u do not need a new router or that it sounds as if your ISP is having an DNS server issue, if you find website are loading very slowing it is because it need to get info from an DNS (Domain Name Server) to carry out what ti need to do. Changing from your ISP DNS to an Openpublic DNS might be usef...

Hey all, Just a quick simple question really, but for the love of my life, can't remember where or how I knew that DG834 Netgear ADSL router was THE best few years ago. My question is this, is it STILL the best wireless ADSL router now or has another router come out and is considered to be the best?...

It's ok all sorted finally got connected after a firmware update from V1.01.00 to V1.02 or something like that and now works with no details changes! Go figure eh... I tried DMT from TT forum and unable to conect cant determine modemtype!

As I mention used my old router connected all fine but my new router I cant conenct at all full-stop!

I has never gotten an router from TT itself only the old speedtouch 330 modem, because I has my own router orginally and it works fine using the SART2-4115. Neo, Before re-trying again I just backed up stats.txt file fro the prevous monitoriing, and delted the files all of them completly and re-instaleld the new version. Happy to tell you no error 13 message at all, didn't have to close down the logger at all was able to get router info and get distance...

Yes it a class II router, but the problem with router stats logger is it don't output the monitoring to a file and don't give both up and down SNR just down or up can't remember which.
