It's bricked, but probably unrecoverable with what I have.
I've successfully unbricked it before, but this time the procedure didn't work.

Re: Router Repair Tool

The router appeared dead when I turned it on this morning, so I can't get the system diagnostics.
I guess the error is due to hardware failure.

Re: Router Repair Tool

When trying to backup my mtd3, RRT reported an error

Code: Select all

MTD3 is not large enough
I'm using 2.96 Lite version of Routertech firmware. Also, everytime I encountered that error, the router's system log showed a message

Code: Select all

exiting due to signal 15

Hm, a Router with 128MB. AFAIK, only Cisco's or other enterprise class router has that much RAM.

Re: RouterTech Firmware 2.92 Discussion

I get this output when running auto_defragenv.sh. Is something wrong ? Yes. It is an error that should not happen. Your environment was very badly fragmented (edit: actually, "trashed" would have been a more accurate description), and this error message should give serious cause for concern...

/var # auto_defragenv.sh
Invalid fragmentation count ("-1"). Quitting ...
I get this output when running auto_defragenv.sh. Is something wrong ?

This version eats much less memory than v2.3. Routertech's firmware rocks
