Re: Cannot set static IP for MAC address

I see.. Is there a way to circumvent the problem? I saw that reserving the IP address through the "reserve" checkbox seemed to work, but I could not change the IP address assigned.

Cannot set static IP for MAC address

Hi everybody,

I have a problem setting a static IP in the LAN Clients, section, it gives me "Error found on page" and the system log says "set error: message= :Bad value for key 'settings/pc9/mac' in 'landhcps0':"

What could it be?

Thanks in advance.

Re: client added to "lan clients" cannot get its IP address

Ehm... actually I've been able to solve this problem using the "repair connection" option in windows.

Sorry for the way-too-early call for help..

client added to "lan clients" cannot get its IP address

Hi everybody, I recently updated to version 2.97 of routertech firmware on my D-Link G624T, and I have this problem: I have configured in the lan clients section the MAC address 00:11:2F:**:**:** to use IP address 192.168.1.6 (as it was configured before the update from version 2.95, which btw was d...

Re: "error found on page" when adding lan clients

I already noticed that they use different separators for the MAC addresses in the two configurations, but I always used the proper separator in each section, and still I cannot enter that MAC in the "lan clients" configuration, so the problem is not the separator.

What else could it be?

"error found on page" when adding lan clients

Hi everybody, I'm getting the error in the subject while trying to add a new lan client whose MAC is A8:E0:18:**:**:** (from a Nokia mobile phone) on my dlink G624T equipped with routertech firmware v2.97 (just updated!) Strangely the MAC is accepted fine in the wireless access list configuration. A...

Re: limited or no connectivity using ethernet

So.. I did nothing at all, and all went back to normal! O.o I've noticed a small thing though: the web interface on the router seems to behave quite badly if accessed using chrome, for example in the DHCP configuration (thanks for pointing out the location) chrome shows ALL the radio buttons as UNCH...

Re: limited or no connectivity using ethernet

how can I try what you suggest? could you please elaborate a bit further? anyway, it worked perfectly until yesterday, for many years... do you think the problem is the network card on my laptop or the one on the router? this is the output of the "ipconfig" command, if it is of any use for you: Wind...

what about the upload problem I found using chrome? Was it a random error, or is there actually a problem with that browser?

Re: RouterTech Firmware 2.95 Discussion

If I remember correctly, there is no such tool to convert an old config to a newer one, you'll have to do it all from scratch.

But I can agree with you, it's quite annoying...

Re: RouterTech Firmware 2.95 Discussion

Well, I found ONE problem: when trying to update the router using chrome as my browser, I got an error uploading the firmware which said that the file did not have the checksum :? trying again using ...
