thanks for that, unfortunately with my Safecom router it runs slower, it only connects at 8bm, while the bebox connects at 11, must be the hardware in the router :|

I've tried the compatibility mode and setting RxSNR to 0, but this hasnt resolved the issue, I've run the RLS script and find attached the output attached, I let the system grab the margin threshold for 20 mins, but it stuck on that even on that time scale

Should,be o.k. the SWAMR-54108 Hardware is rated up to 24Mbps MAx speed... - don't see how this should be firmware limited - obviously it will depend to some extent on the mode/dsl drivers but you're MUCH more likely to be lins condition limited..... just a quick question about v2.5, if I move isp that is a LLU operator, would this firmware on an (me shudders) Safecom swamr-54108, allow full speed of up to 24mb (line dependent)?

or is my good old stable router tech router not upto the job?

Nothing untoward in the dhcp conf file, it should be working unless some firewall between your PC OS and the router OS is blocking the dhcp udp broadcast or reply. I've never used tinyproxy - but guess it could interfere if incorrectly setup? it using the default config that comes with the firmware...

NO DHCP pickup, static Ip's working fine

Ive got an odd issue with my router, if I connect a PC and allow it to set the IP by DHCP, the machine get's an ip of 169.254.88.171. this tells me it's cannot see a DHCP server. this happens on wireless and wired connections. if I setup the ip and DNS the connection works fine. :| it's just annoyin...
