Re: RouterTech Firmware 2.94 Discussion

Hi, I have just updated a gwart2-4115 to 2.94 and noticed a couple of issues. I only want to use the router as a temporary access point on a LAN that already has an ADSL-connected router so there is no WAN/ISP to configure, but... I have setup the gwart2 router at 192.168.3.2 and the existing ADSL r...

GWAMRU-54108 default firewall rules

Hi Guys, I'm setting up my first GWAMRU-54108 (the Guru-branded version of the SWAMRU-54108) and although I can comprehend pretty much all of the interface, I recall from experience with older (Connexant-based) models that it's sometimes necessary to manually add the 'basics' to the firewall - such ...

Great to see you over here ;) WRT to firmwares there is this also: https://www.routertech.org/pages.php?page=18 It sounds like the problem is similar to the NAT tables filling up when P2P software is used - is there any way to reduce the number of connections? :? I will have to see what's going on ...

Not yet - the original visits to site were both for other things that took priority so all I managed to do was some quick tests. DMZ may be an option but would not be a good ultimate fix as some sites may need >1 phone.

Can the VOIP phones use UPnP, Not in a position to try it but may improve things ! in which case the JMK would be the only option ( or Billion if you can locate it !) But requires USB Flash. Nope, the phones cannot use uPnP. I might try pulling one of the routers off site (I have a few Linksys and ...

Firmware comparison chart for Safecom/Origo/Conexant chipset

Hi Guys, I may be dreaming but wasn't there a chart comparing the various firmware releases for the Safecom/Origo/Billion etc. routers (probably on ADSLTech but now deleted?) Anyway, can anyone point me to a copy of the chart or even suggest the best firmware for the SAMR-4110 and 4114 Safecom model...

VoIP with Connexant chipset routers

Hi ADSLTech renegades! Here's one I posted *cough* 'elsewhere' before I realised you'd all moved camp! If anyone can shed any light on this I would be grateful - expecially any recommendations for the best firmware for these routers. Thanks ---> I have some of the 4-port and 1-port SAMR-411x Routers...
