Re: RouterTech Firmware 2.97 Discussion
The lite versions have dsp7.0 - and this leaves enough space for a 64kb minix partition: see the history.html file in the 2.97 docs. Thanks for the info. In the meanwhile i found this information in the firmware FAQ  Whats the reason that "only" dsp7.0 is integrated in the lite version and no...

Re: RouterTech Firmware 2.97 Discussion
Hi @ All, can someone tell me which DSP/tiatm driver is included in the routertech-ar7rd-lite-1port-firmware-20120130 (2MB PSP version) ? The dsp_drivers.txt only includes general information but no concrete information about the lite version especially for 2MB devices. ---edit-- i found the followi...

Re: RouterTech Firmware 2.95 Discussion
I know its difficult to answer this but i thought maybe there is a clue in what range errors are normal respectively acceptable. ....the latest drivers if supported by your ISP may be able to dynamically rate-adjust... Do you mean "Seamless Rate Adaption" ? This is not supported by my ISP ...Have yo...

Re: RouterTech Firmware 2.95 Discussion
Is it possible to view/edit the freememory.sh script and if yes which tool to use ? I didn't found an editor like nano or vi.
I ask because the freememory.sh script also disables the http server which i dont want to be disabled.

Re: RouterTech Firmware 2.95 Discussion
FYI I just installed routertech-ar7rd-pspboot-1port-firmware-20110103 on my AR860 and no problems at all. Now Path Mode is displayed correctly as Fastpath. So as already assumed the bug with the "Lite" version is about the tiatm driver. This is from the RSL system log: Mode: Fastpath ADSL 2+ ATM Dri...

Re: RouterTech Firmware 2.95 Discussion
For sure that routertech-ar7rd-pspboot-1port-firmware-20110103 has dsp7.5 drivers as default for 2MB non wireless flash devices such as the AR860 ? In the past (when there was no light version) i have used the full version without any problems. Maybe because i used the AR860 only as a modem. der_Kief

Re: RouterTech Firmware 2.95 Discussion
Hi, i just upgraded to new version 2.95. All of my other modems are displaying this correct. And the ping times...

OK, you are the chiefthechief wrote:I see. Well, there is no problem as far as I am aware. As I said, what is reported is normally accurate.
In any case, I wouldn't worry about it.

But nevertheless there is something wrong with version 2.94.

Re: RouterTech Firmware 2.94 Discussion
Normally what is reported is accurate. How can ping and tracert tell you whether it is fastpath or interleaved? Hi, i thought pings to the first hop around 10ms are fastpath. When i connect my broadcom modem it tells me that i have fastpath. Also when i install and older version of routertech it te...
