thechief wrote:"DSL_FEATURE_CNTL_0" is back there again. Is it the Dlink firmware that is restoring this?

Code: Select all

setenv DSL_FEATURE_CNTL_0 0x4000

I tried. couldn't connect.
I also corrected Modulation.

Can we extract some info from Router while it's connected to my ISP using its official firmware?

I tried to unbrick it but not successful. Then something came to my mind, I tried 5.8.8.8 as routers ...

The status of connection was "Not Connected" and also there was no sign of PPPoE connection in System Log. the last line was "pppd 2.4.1 started by root, uid 0" I think the router didn't even authenticate to the server. I wonder how changing TCP settings on my PC would affect the way my Router tries to connect to the ISP!?
isn't that the router should connect to the ISP even when no PC is connected to it?
