Re: NAT-PMP support dropped in 2.94?

Thanks for the provided info about the lost leases files and the MINUPNP table name change. Yes, I can see both references show to UPNP chain. I suppose everything is Ok then.

Best regards,
C

NAT-PMP support dropped in 2.94?

Hello Everyone, Let me start by saying that Routertech is KING. I'm a Mac user and have been trying to find out if NAT-PMP is indeed working, as it used to in previous versions. The instructions (as of Routertech firmware version 2.5) in upnp.txt to enable NAT-PMP and disable UPN were: setenv RT_cmd...

Re: RouterTech Firmware 2.94 Discussion

Upgraded my DSL-G604T/US v.A1 with replaced ADAM to PSP bootloader from Routertech 2.93 to 2.94 via web interface with no problems.
Thanks everyone at Routertech!

Re: Which Firmaware?

The correct form would be: "did i even ASK you", since you already used did, to put it in the past tense... Yes you did. In fact, you asked everyone here, since this is a FORUM (from Webster Dictionary: a place, meeting, or medium where ideas and views on a particular issue can be exchanged). Grow u...

Re: Which Firmaware?

I can see it too... It's right there in the download page. Of course the firmware image list only appears once you are logged in. About the warnings: they are only trying to help, preventing you from bricking your hardware. If you can not understand which firmware image to use from the RUC report, o...

Re: Replacing Adam2 booloader with PSP bootloader

Once again, thanks for your reply, time and experience sharing. As far as I know, it appears to be working... Transmission and Back to My Mac report a green light, which seem to indicate that the required ports were opened on demand. One other thing I noticed is that I cannot find a upnp.leases file...

Re: Replacing Adam2 booloader with PSP bootloader

Thanks for your reply mstombs! cat /etc/upnpd.conf output: enable_natpmp=yes deny 0-1024 0.0.0.0/0 0-1024 It looks ok to me... I suppose the extra ' was actually a cut and paste error in my previous messsage, right? Should have been echo 'enable_natpmp=yes'>>/etc/upnpd.conf but somehow I cut out the...

Re: Replacing Adam2 booloader with PSP bootloader

Ok, so here is my successful experience with replacing the bootloader AND the firmware version of a bricked G604T v1: I followed the first post of this thread as carefully as I could and was able to revive my ancient hardware which has served me well for many years once again. I was previously runni...

Re: RouterTech Firmware 2.91.1 Discussion

Good day! Upgrade of G604T to 2.9.1.1 from 2.9 using web interface ended successfully, but after reboot was still on 2.9. Tried 3 times with same results. I don't know what went wrong as I did reset to firmware defaults both before and after upgrade on every attempt. Also patiently waited 10 min in ...

TheChief,

Thanks for your reply and for providing the link to the docs, I will follow your advice about not messing with replacing the bootloader with a different type.

Best regards,

Re: Routertech firmware is causing the death of DLINK G604T

Thanks TheChief for your fast reply. I will google "Router Repair Tool" and "Ciclamab" to look for both tools and documentation. In the meantime, is it possible to.... you guessed it: replace ADAM2 bootloader with PSP?

Thanks again.

Re: Routertech firmware is causing the death of DLINK G604T

Hello ALL, Thanks a lot mgosia and TheChief for this very interesting discussion! I think Routertech is the best firmware available and for me it is a must because it supports NAT-PMP which is something you just do not find easily on this class of device. I also have a DLINK G604T (v.A1) which runs ...
