Re: WiFi on...

One thing I did notice - normally simply turning the AP on or off doesn't require a restart. When I tried to turn the wifi AP on (click on apply), the wifi light didn't turn on (even after waiting 20 seconds). So I tried restarting the AP. Still no wifi light. I finally had to restart the whole Azt...

....sue it successfully clearly this should have been 'use'. Suing I'm sure was covered by the end user agreement that I didn't read  Let us know what you think about it Alan. I want to know if it's worth still trying to get it working or to wait for a later beta. I've logged an issue with Go...

Google Chrome

Anyone tried Google Chrome browser yet? I had a go when it was launched last night but 1) It won't connect to the Internet 2) It crashed whenever I tried to looking at imported bookmarks. Possibly. Looking at a picture of the CA-53 it has the same 'long' USB end where the USB / Serial logic is held. Having not tried it I couldn't tell you for sure. If it's unwanted elsewhere then give it a go.

Another cable I've used successfully was called a CA-42. These are plentiful on eBay. The wire colours are likely to be different but with a little bit of luck and a following wind you can get a USB serial cable up and running quickly. In my case I got the 4th cable (two DKU-5's and then two CA-42) ...

Anyway, I tried the W.E.B. tool, and it complained that it can't find my TNETW ID. I had this issue with my SAR600EW at one point. I found the TNETW ID on an error line in the system log and could then add it manually. after a boot up can you post the log (after hiding the normal sensitive stuff)?

EDIT2: if I go in the DDNS status, under the no-ip option I found this line Status: Connection has not acquired IP Address to update what does it mean? It mean...

Is this on the DLink firmware? If so I'm not sure if the location for the option is identicle, even if it exists (which I doubt). On the RT firmware you can set the DDNS through the 'Advanced' menu have a look at the online demo demo/2-5

I'm guessing the you didn't follow the instructions to run the Router Upgrade Checker before you started? I think it would be best for you to ensure you have the original firmware for your router from the manufacturer and then read the instructions here https://www.routertech.org/viewtopic.php?t=335...

To expand upon the succinct answer from thechief: From previous discussions I believe it has been concluded that Open VPN is too large to fit in the firmware. If you have the time and skill to prove otherwise then please feel free to grab the sources and try it. If you can get it to work then it can...
