Slow PPTP VPN Throughput
As per the title, connections, pings, local, remote, are all fine through my PPTP VPN. Only issue is that it's terribly slow. I end up getting about 20Kb/s as opposed to 600Kb/s which is the speed of my broadband. My VPN server and end point is located in a datacentre on a gigabit network so the thr...

By default remote access is disabled with RouterTech firmware; you'll only be able to access yours because you've either enabled this feature or are connected directly to the router on the LAN side. Why do you want to access other people's routers anyway? Any penetration testing for either education...

It's worth pointing out that OpenDNS have yet to change their systems to support this and from comments I've seen on their community it looks like they are unlikely to do so in the near future. It's still work, it's just connections will fail over to TCP.
