The square point will be ground and the other four will be the data and power connections (2x GND connections). You'll find the square point is soldered to the body of the socket, which is GND. I shall have a poke about, see if I can find the pin arrangement... If I am right in asuming that the boar...

My girlfriend has a KCorp ADSL router; the KLS-5810: http://www.kcorplifestyle.com/products/silverSeries/KLS-5810/KLS-5810.htm (which I bought her for xmas 2 years ago) It states 'Chipset: Texas Instruments AR7W'. Does that mean it would be compatible w...

It won't be found in the LAN configuration (see point 4 of "New features" - "USB support added (not available via the web interface)." The settings used will be the same as the ethernet. And everything shown in your log is normal. "USB support added (not available via the web interface)." I wasnt s...

Not to worry, I did the upgrade, all is GOOD 8)

With the new v2.1, with the USB enabled, does it appear in the LAN Configuration page, or should it, as mine does not.

If it is the case that the USB interface cannot be 'configured' would it simply follow the setup of the 'Ethernet' config?

Plain and simply, they wont release the firmware;

1. They dont have it themselves,
2. It will blatently have someone elses name all over it.

Ok, well I have 4 no-ip domain names, which link to 4 individual sites on my server, with DUC you can obviously select which to update and which to ignore. So I wont make use of the feature myself, just curious to if it could be done, to take that 'module' away from the server. Would make sence, sin...
