Check on the DD-WRT and OpenWRT forums. They support that device.

Re: Where to get wholesale lots of mini pci cards
Your idea could work, but you would be advised to run a pilot first. Have a look at this thread for a list of devices that are listed as having the 1350A wireless chip (just look for "1350A" on all the pages) and see if you can get any of them cheaply on ebay. I doubt that you will find many - but y...

Use the free OpenDNS family Shield service. It will block all sorts of nonsense, and you can configure it to your heart's content.

Re: D-link DSL-624T bricked
If you want assistance, you should come up with more details than statements like "all attempts failed". Maybe you might want to tell us exactly what it is that you did, and exactly what the outcome of it was?

Re: Island in Lake/Point to Point Wifi Bridge/Router Power I

Re: Island in Lake/Point to Point Wifi Bridge/Router Power I
Perhaps your router #2 already does? Have you checked? Any router with a firmware based on Linux should be able to do it. Many firmwares are locked by the manufacturers, and so you might need 3rd party firmwares (eg, Tomato, Merlin, DDWrt). RouterTech firmwares support all this - but can only connec...

Re: Island in Lake/Point to Point Wifi Bridge/Router Power I
Good Day: My system involves two houses (one on land and one on an island in a lake 2km away) and a Point to Point Wi-Fi bridge made by GNS Wireless. The modem in house #1 has a static IP address which is used by the remote router in house #2 at the other end of the wifi bridge. The router in house...
