It seems even with an opt in / out system, your traffic is still being interecepted, your opt in status just seems to opt in to receiving their targeted adverts etc. i.e. Opt out and your traffic is still being passed along and cleansed of "person...

A woman asks her husband, 'Would you like some bacon and eggs, a slice of toast, and maybe some grapefruit and coffee?' He declines. 'Thanks for asking, but I'm not hungry right now. It's this Viagra,' he says. 'It's really taken the edge off my appetite.' At lunchtime she asked him if he would like...

Think I'd rather take you up on the jokes front. A guy in a bar leans over to the guy next to him and says, "Want to hear an accountant joke?" The guy next to him replies, "Well, before you tell that joke, you should know that I'm 6 feet tall, 200 pounds, and I'm an accountant. And the guy sitting n...

With that history on his CV he sounds like the perfect candidate to be the "Boss" in BOFH. Better watch out for tape safes ad cattle prods. :w...

Which ISP are you with?

Do you use their DNS servers? If so try using openDNS.

The problem is I'm told that there are frequent disconnects. Even when he's capped to 1.5mbs, whereas I get at least 4.5mbs.
