How is the Xbox set up on the router to get it's IP address assigned ? - It should be a static/fixed/reserved IP and that IP address should be added as the DMZ address on the router....

In the past I've gotten away with rebooting into safe mode with the new MB and going to control panel - device manager and deleting ALL devices (make sure you set DM to Show Hidden Devices) and then run the add/remove Hardware wizard - reboot and run the add/remove wizard again..... YMMV of course.....

Sorry Neo - just spotted this thread - I had this problem a few weeks back on our Vista Lappie and found that issue - removed AVG and installed Avast! AV instead... had been meaning to dump the resource hungry AVG anyway...

Easy enough to check - set passwords/username at both ends and see if it works I guess.....
If that makes no difference then I'd try it with the PC firewall completely disabled as a trouble shooting step.

Are you allowing the RLS app to talk through the firewall s/w in the pc ?
