Thank you chief, I tried running it on the router, but it keeps failing. Seems too much work to be lost on a power down, so I don't think I'll bother.

... CGI courses anyone xD lol

I've just found this: clicky and clicky after a very quick search on Google for mini http php servers; it does look impressive.

Unless someone beats me to it, I'll have a good at compiling it ( on a linux computer - before I get the comments :P ) and running it on the router.

That's fair enough, not even reason to try it really is there!? I don't suppose it could be a simple case of running a binary on the router which translates PHP sctipts? :/ Only reason I asked about it, was because I have changed the webconfig port from 80, and I wanted to run a small dynamic webpag...

So you could host a small (dynamic) webpage on the router, for example could store and host the router's uptime banner. Would it be quicker/easier for me to learn cgi?

Here's a random idea; which may have already been suggested; how much effort would it be to build in PHP support for the httpd server on the router? Has it been tried already?

Pista and NIS really do have to be the two worst pieces of software, and they decided to put the two together ... There is no hope in the world.

I have contacted Sipgate and they suggested that I change the Register Expire Time to 600 (which is the default setting in the Closed Firmware) . This seems to of sorted the problem. I will report back if it proves otherwise. So ... If you are having the same issue as me with a dropping SIP connecti...

Ok, this is really starting to get on my nerves now ... Has anyone else had any problems with Sipgate recently... Would it be that I haven't put any credit on it for a long time and they are causing me problems ?? I have tried practically everything; short of hard resetting the ATA; which I don't wa...

Just another idea for you to try out; further to what thechief has suggested, I have got a file called 'script.sh' on my webserver which is called via the autoexec.sh function. From here I can add as many scripts as I like, and do not need to edit the setenv of the router each time that I need to ad...

This may have been covered in the past, but why does the router sometimes display 'Internal Communications Error' ??

I have not seen it yet in 2.3, but when I was running 2.2 in No-NAT mode it seemed to happen every so often. Would the No-NAT be a factor?

I know that with No-NAT I can forward the same ports to the different static IPs, and setting up each port forward manually would be ... tedious at best. Is it possible to issue an iptables command which will forward all ports to a specific host; yet leave other hosts protected behind the router fir...

I may be just being stupid or lazy now, and I expect it is already written up somewhere; but is there a command, like iptables for example; which would allow me to stop the web config of the router being accessed from the WAN side (but perfectly accessable from the LAN side), much the same as if the...
