since i been using mine for years, i can tell you it's a solid router if you can get rid of adam2. but that's not something you do lightly as your chance of bricking is very high if you take any missteps. i've gone through all the options and i can't finda nything for setting a bandwidth restriction by IP, but i swear this was a feature somewhere am I just blind? is it commandline only and not GUI? when i have house guests i on't want them firing up skype or torrents and killing my latency for gaming...

just curious, ipv6 isn't industry standard quite yet. but one day it might be. have any hacks/attempts been made recently to work with it in RT firmware? or is hardware just too obsolete for it? i have same problem with ppp if i use pppoe, if i use pppoa i don't have problems, pppoe if connection is lost with my ISP (since they have a tendancy to kill connection remotely without a termination packet, pppoe typically just hangs and doesn't function untl reboot). pppoa works fine with mY ISps...

no webupdate problem with safari, which is webkit based like chrome, although probably an older webkit build as chrome likes to push the nightlies into their browser (gives better speed but probably at the cost of other issues, but then again that's all chrome advertises right? speed).
