What wireless chipset is the DLink using? Can you please post up the results from this:

Code: Select all

cat /proc/ticfg/env
You may wish to remove/obscure the lines beginning with HWA :)

Sorry I should of been a bit more thorough with my previous post.

Are you able to log into the router via telnet or ssh? You need to run the command from that shell; or via 'Run Command' on the System page on the router.

Could you please post the results from these commands, so we can see what the wireless chipset is, and if it has been initalised.

Code: Select all

cat /proc/sys/dev/adam2/environment
cat /proc/modules
cat /proc/interrupts
cat /proc/avalanche/avsar_ver

I think you mean "cat /proc/sys/dev/adam2/environment".

Sorry I missed part of the command . Could you please try:

Code: Select all

cat /proc/sys/dev/adam2/environment
Although, looking through what you've posted, it doesn't appear to list the wireless interface; I may be wrong, but I would hazard a guess that it is using a wireless chipset which is not supported by the RT firmware.

Could you try reverting back to the original DLink firmware; just to see if the wireless interface starts working once again.

Did you perform a factory reset on the router when it finished upgrading??

Another method you may wish to try to get the original firmware back on is with the PCTool; a guide for it here.

I was referring to the details of what was on the router before you updated the firmware.
