Hi
Im having problems with wifi function of the huawei wa1003a.So i disassembled the device and found a mini pci card for wifi.(labelled alpha networks wmp-g04h with 1130 chip).I tried the above mini pci card in my laptop and found it to to be fully functional,even connected to my wireless router and internet.But when inserted the same in WA1003A,theres is no wifi.Whats wrong with the device?.Broken wa1003a PCB or firmware issue?. The problem remains the same if i use huawei stock firmware or routertech 2.96.Any help is greatly appreciated.
sorry for mt english.
thanks in advance

Seems like something is not right somewhere on your system board.

It all depends on which 3rd party firmware you are interested in. Each of the popular ones would have a compatibility list of some sort. For example,
RouterTech;
TomatoUSB;
RouterTech;
TomatoUSB;
