I don't think the real firmware from D-Link for 2640T will work with his router as he said that he is from Morocco. The firmware for 2640T is currently available for South East Asia.

The user's country has no bearing on whether the firmware will work - unless the hardware supplied in that country is different from the hardware in other countries.

Because you have to supply the MAC address. It is normally written somewhere on your router. And you have to set NVS_TFTP_LOAD to 0

Code: Select all

 setenv NVS_TFTP_LOAD 0

Reflash the firmware and check whether the router boots. Post whatever happens after reflashing.

You have messed up the environment.
skybird wrote:and i tried to change the setenv NVS_TFTP_LOAD 1 to 0 but without succes
How did you try to change it?

The bottom line is that you need to run the WEB again, and put in the correct MAC address again. Then click on "Build Environment", and click on "Yes" when it asks whether to send the environment to the router. After this, you need to reboot the router (if the WEB doesn't reboot it automatically), and run the WEB again. Then click on "Get details from router". Hopefully, it will be able to obtain the correct TNETW ID this time. Then let the WEB send the new environment to the router again. Hopefully, at the end of this, it will all be working.
