Client mode

Post by rockstock » Sat Apr 18, 2015 2:09 pm

Hello!

Have sarched around on the forum and checked the fw live demo also, but did'n find
the answer.

Does the latest fw release support router in client mode? (connect router to wisp or wifi router).
I noticed that on the wifi section there is a "enable ap" flag, does it just enable wifi?

Thanks in advance, cheers!

Unfortunately, there is no wifi client mode.

Thanks for the reply!

It's a shame, it would add great value to this ti ar7 routers, do you know some
other custom firmware that allows a 2MB install, and has support for the same chipsets, having
also a client or at least wds mode?

Cheers!

Sorry, I don't think one exists. And, if it exists, it wouldn't fit inside 2MB.

Yeah, the ddwrt light is 2mb but has some incompatibility with the zyxel, plus, this is a T3 version
hardly known on the internet, the D3 is popular, and T1 v3 which often gets confounded with the T3.

Thanks anyway, best regards!
