Hi My router has been playing up, probably overheating so I bought a new BT unlocked unit and followed the instructions from this forum from 'tpointpc' to unlock the unit.
I followed each line ok but when I got to the end and when prompted updated the admin name and password )(used earlier) to my actual name and password for freenetname it rejected it with this message - This device has been supplied as part of aBT service & cannot be used with any other services, contact BT for further information.
I tried again leaving the admin details rather than mine which were accepted but whilst my PC showed connected - no internet or e-mails can be accessed. Any help would be appreciated.
