Roper flynet roadsl2p-wg: can't detect ADSL carrier

Post by gorneman » Wed Sep 24, 2008 2:19 pm

Hello to everybody.
My router worked fine with routertech firmware 2.6 until, two days ago, it stopped to detect Adsl carrier.
Another router (AliceGate "drats" wireless) detect carrier without problem.
Is it a problem of firmware, or an hardware problem (the modem part of router died)?
Here, there are the filedump of env and so on....

The router is detecting some dsl signal, what modulation have you set - multimode? multimode should auto select the correct modulation but you can try forcing to ADSL2_plus or gdmt if this is failing. I don't like the 3 "connectionx" settings in the environment, but don't think that is the problem.

There's also an option of an older dsp62A in the wireless firmwares, but I suggest something has changed in the wiring or the isp to make a difference!
