without it then bootloader won't know how to 'run' the firmware.
Did you not try 192.162.1.2 then ?ziggary wrote:Did that via PCTOOLbiro wrote:Just noticed thisis missing from the ENVCode: Select all

and i got a 192.162.1.2 ip but could not acess the web menu on 192.162.1.1..
Trying the Dlink original firmware just to test...
Also anything else missing from the envo?
That is an IP address I have never seen before. Where did the "192.162..." come from?ziggary wrote:and i got a 192.162.1.2 ip but could not acess the web menu on 192.162.1.1
You will simply get a brick. Haven't you seen from the preceding discussion that you are just messing your router about? Your router has a psp boot loader, yet, you keep trying to flash firmwares meant for the Adam2 bootloader.ziggary wrote:Trying the Dlink original firmware just to test...
When i say dlink firmware i mean original firmware that comes for the modem genII.thechief wrote:That is an IP address I have never seen before. Where did the "192.162..." come from?ziggary wrote:and i got a 192.162.1.2 ip but could not acess the web menu on 192.162.1.1

Flashing the router with Darkwolf's mod (meant for an Adam2 router) is what caused your original problems.

remove these entries ie from ftp use "quote SETENV autoload"
are generic values
HWA_0 should be the MAC printed on a label somewhere on/in the router.
WLAN_HWADDR 00:14:2B:09:85:2A
mac_ap 00:14:2B:09:85:2A should be the HWA_0 MAC +1
HWA_3 00:14:2B:09:85:2B should be the HWA_0 MAC +2
If it works then Wireless will still be down still work to be done similar problem here
