Hello,
I installed a 2.96 routertech firmware on the router;
the modem says that the adsl line is "disconnected", while connection works with another modem
I tried this with 2 ISP, and I get the same results
The problem has arrived before firmware upgrade (first disconnection with a 2.7 firmware), then I upgraded and got the same result
Someone has good ideas?
Thx,
Paolo

Re: adsl problem on DLink 604T
Hardware fault? It is possible that the DSL modem part of the device is dead (I have this happen with some old Safecom routers). See the output of this command
If it says "IDLE" somewhere, then that is a clue.
Code: Select all
cat /proc/avalanche/avsar_modem_training

In any case answer without adsl line is
/var # cat /proc/avalanche/avsar_modem_training
IDLE
0
failTrains=1
/var # cat /proc/avalanche/avsar_modem_training
IDLE
0
failTrains=1

Yes. It is querying the DSL connect status.tiepolo wrote:Thx for answer!
