I have an Asus RT-N16 - lots of flash/ram and USB but only 2.4GHz N (not dual-band to 5GHz), it does run dd-wrt, but I generally use TomatoUSB because I can build from source... Something very interesting with Asus and new RT-N66U - they have openly, with due acknowledgement, borrowed heavily from tomatousb, dd-wrt (and OpenWRT) to put features into their stock firmware normally only seen in 3rd party!
