Bricked Actiontec PK5000

Post by Dave8816 » Fri Sep 16, 2016 11:59 pm

I have a CenturyLink branded Actiontec PK5000 TA that got bricked during a firmware update. It sits in bridging mode in front of a Cradlepoint MBR1400.

I can connect to it via FTP so I know the boot loader is intact, but the firmware recovery tool is NLA.

I was able to get a FW image file from CenturyLink (QAP002-3.60.3.0.9.9-PK5000.img), but I have no idea where to go next.

Doing a generic FTP PUT (after switching to BIN) aborts.

I saw a few posts on here with people who have played Lazarus with these, so i'm keeping my fingers crossed. I'm not spending $100 on an overpriced CL TA/router combo, and really dont want to spend $35 on a TP-Link or Zyxel TA if I can avoid it.

Help?
