Your mtd settings indicate that you cannot perform a single-image upgrade. You are fortunate that your router has not been bricked. There are many warnings in the docs about this. Your best bet is separate images and RT v2.5.

Woots, fixed!

Hello world using RouterTech firmware. :D

Steps: (after hours of sweat)
V1.0(Current)
-> V1.0 (using .exe version to upgrade, refering this post, but using DSL500T firmware from dlink website)
-> V2.0 (TH version, using .exe version to upgrade)
-> V3.0 (RU version, upload .img via webcm)
-> RouterTech latest version! (upload .img via webcm)

Thanks all!

Edit: added some notes

The decision is yours. You have been given the appropriate warnings, and the question is how risk-averse you are. Others have succeeded with the G624T, but your mileage may vary. If you have the correct mtd settings, then the only likely problem is a fragmented environment. This typically afflicts D-Link adam2-based routers, and causes problems for some people, while others manage to get by.

I can't recommend it or not. The decision is yours. If in doubt, then leave well alone.

Somethings wrong with the link to download the checker:

Connection with the database couldn't be made.
Access denied for user 'neolics_website'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

Thanks!

Hi all,

Having only recently discovered this site I am very much looking forward to upgrading my router to your custom firmware. However, none of the router upgrade checker downloads seem to be working so having trawled through your forums and reading for a while I believe with 90% certaincy that my router will be compatable.

Below I am providing as much information as I can for my router as it is an OEM model that I picked up a few years ago with no branding. Should you require more information then please do not hesitate to ask.

# cat version
Linux version 2.4.17_mvl21-malta-mips_fp_le (root@localhost.localdomain) (gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (release/MontaVista)) #2 Fri Sep 23 10:57:52 CST 2005

# pwd
/proc/avalanche
# ls
avsar_bit_allocation_table cpmac_ver
avsar_channels developers
avsar_modem_stats eth0_rfc2665_stats
avsar_modem_training led_cfg
avsar_oam_ping led_ver
avsar_private marvell
avsar_pvc_table psp_version

avsar_rxsnr2 usb0_stat
avsar_sarhal_stats usb0_ver
avsar_ver vlynq_link
clear_eoc_stats vlynq_ver
cpmac_link wan_bridge
cpmac_stats

Does the marvell dir here tell me that I have a compatable marvell switch? (4 port)

I managed to get routertech-ar7wrd-pspboot-firmware-20090415.zip downloaded. I have also backed up my led.conf file.
PROMPT (psbl) = PSP boot
Bootloader environment does not contain anything like "WLAN_EEPROM0", "WLAN_EEPROM1" = TNETW1130 Wireless chip
80: 280627 TNETW1130 [hw0 (Low Vlynq)] = Further conformation

Having read through the docs & your site extensively I would love some input regarding my router compatability for your firmware.

Also if someone could provide a mirror for the 1.3.4 upgrade checker tool this would be wonderful.

Kind Regards,
Craig

Am I missing something? When I try to download it tells me
