Your Ethernet ports may or may not function correctly with a RouterTech firmware.
Select an AR7RD PSPBOOT 4 PORT firmware.
Latest: routertech-ar7rd-pspboot-4ports-firmware-20110502.zip
Or choose the Lite firmware version: routertech-ar7rd-lite-4ports-firmware-20110502.zip
Please read the instructions that come with the firmware files before you upgrade.
Note: a later version of the firmware may exist depending on the how up to date the RUC is.

Re: Router Upgrade Checker (Class II routers only)
I've a problem with a Tenda W300D router.
Ruc with me that on the abort file:
This router is weird, and you need to type sh in order to get into the busyBox, I think that's the reason for what RUC gets stuck on 10%.
That's what I do when I telnet manually my router:
Ruc with me that on the abort file:
Code: Select all
00:00:000 Running script
00:00:001 Opening connection

Aborted by user.

Re: Router Upgrade Checker (Class II routers only)
This shows that the router has a Broadcom chipset, not AR7. So the RUC will not work on it, and neither will RouterTech.BCM96328 Broadband Router

Re: Router Upgrade Checker (Class II routers only)
Thank you very much for your answer. Do you know where else I can look (tried openwrt and dd-wrt)? I can't find the router model anywhere for any custom firmware. I think it's a good router but its default firmware sucks.

Re: Router Upgrade Checker (Class II routers only)
Thank you! I will read and try every option, but is quite difficult as no one seems to have any information about it. Sorry about the offtopic.
Re: Router Upgrade Checker (Class II routers only)
Is there any update of Router Upgrade Checker planned for Firmware v2.97?

Re: Router Upgrade Checker (Class II routers only)
RUC 1.4.1 tested working with wine-1.4.1 on LMDE (Debian Testing/Wheezy based).
Might need VB6 runtime environment, which I had already needed to install, to be able to run "MTD Calculator".
