After reboot i read out with stats logger

befor i have tryed to enable the 15 the 11+12+13 was disabled.

Thanks. Did you run the "rsl.bat" file at exactly the same time as you saw the problem in the RUC? If so, then for some reason, it seems the fragments are missing from the data. One explanation would be if you were querying the router too frequently and new requests are being made before the old ones finish - could that be the case. Also, how are you connecting to the router? Are you using a wireless connection?

It's normal to see some data packet separation (the RSL prints each data 'lump' on a new line in the debug log), but yours is quite pronounced!

For whatever reason (maybe bandwidth or router CPU over loading?) it seems that occasionally data is left out or it doesn't reach the RSL.

Hi Neo,

i wanne say thank you for that nice tool !!
It's so great that you are can configurate the Feature Bits with this tool.

Now, my AR860 is performing almost better than a SpeedTouch @ BCM 6338.

Here is a comparison: ~30dB@300kHz

Uptime 65 hours 15 minutes:
Image

7.4.4.7.0
Image

6.1.4.6.0 (tuned):

I love using RT Fimware since i saw this stats !!

One Question.
Are more Feature Bits avalible for Annex B ?
(Can you add more Feature Bits for AnnexB ?)

Keep it up !

Hey Neo,

Any thoughts about porting this tool to Windows 7? I love this tool so much, I cant stand my Router without it. It just won't work on Win7. I have tried about everything and it kinda stays stuck and does nothing after starting up. Buttons are working, but they are of no use if the tool won't do anything. Here are the things I tried:

- Used a fresh copy every time.
- Windows 7 compatibility mode. Every setting.
- DLL files that may be needed.
- Filtered through Firewall.

I want to say thank you for this tool but I don't do that.
Instead, I am questioning why do you chose windows and closed sourced application for OpenSource firmware?
It's comes weird to me. Your program is freeware right? So you don't think make money with this tool.

I am linux user and your program doesn't run on it. I am bit angry about, sorry. If I were you, I open the source and let others help the purpose...

For tools like this, I suggest you wxAPI (C++/Python/Delphi compatible) http://www.wxwidgets.org for make your program cross-compileable for became 'native' Linux, OSX and Windows program. (like mine http://divfixpp.sf.net avi fix program )

Thanks for considering above...

You're most welcome to write a portable version, in a portable language. We're always looking for new developers.

Okey. I can help about portable version of utilities and this also means you will open the source :)
Those days I am busy with Matroska (MKV) parsing tool. I done with it and now trying to implement Meteorite:MKV fix algorithm. There is no Matroska fixer available on the internet yet. So little busy this weeks but I can handle new project.

So where to start? Will you open source code of router stats? I execute program via KVM (Virtual machine) and see UI. Its look that will not too hard to make it rewrite/port with C++/wxAPI. (my english is not good but I think you got what I mean)

Thanks :)

Wherever you wish to start. After all, it will be your own project. ;)

That's up to Neo. You'd better write your own from the scratch.

@ BootP - thanks for your comments ;)
BootP wrote: One Question.

I don't know - I didn't create them I just added the ability to change them :) As far as I'm aware, the bits are determined by the DSP version and what Texas Instruments decides to make available.

@ MHAQS

Windows 7 is still in its infancy! :o I've been playing with a beta but I haven't done any testing of software on it nor any development yet. I'll do some testing when I have some free time ;)

Well it's actually donation-ware to be precise :) See my website: www.neolics.com
Also, a lot of my network related software advertises RouterTech.Org - if it were to become open source then I doubt RouterTech would feature as much.

I'm all in favour of open source, but I don't think everything should be open source (unless I get paid by some kind of altruistic organisation :) ). I could discuss this issue at great length, but suffice to say, I have my reasons for how my software has evolved in the way it has ;)

The issue of cross-platform compatibility has cropped up before and I have created Linux compatible versions of some of my utilities (it's much harder with the more complex applications).

The RSL is just one of many pieces of software (see my website) I have created and several share common source code, so it's not as simple as it might first appear.

Other people have worked on similar projects before - see viewtopic.php?t=339. If you wish to do so, then I would be interested to see the results :)
