Can't upload attachments

Post by SyBorg » Wed May 17, 2006 12:36 pm

I'm getting error

Upload Error: Could not upload Attachment to ./files/google_190.jpg.

When trying to add a picture to a post in this part of the Forum.
Each time I try it is adding a different three digit number and a '_' to the end of the name ie the file is google.jpg and it gives me the above or

Upload Error: Could not upload Attachment to ./files/google_666.jpg.

etc.

I was trying to post on something else by the way but this stopped me.

It just occured to me it may be the Firewall I am behind at work. Would be good to confirm this though...

The upload system is definitely borked at the moment.

The attachment panel checks out OK and everyone is within their quotas so it look like a file system problem (possibly in having write access to the folder)...

Ok, I have diagnosed the problem with uploads. As I have other priorities at the moment and it is something that has to be fixed in some depth server side (for those in the know it's to do with Zend) this issue is going to have to wait. Apologies to all who are having problems. For now please use IMG tags and a service like ImageShack.
