Hi,
I can see for the forum that a number of people are using DrayTek routers, some of which have built-in VoIP ports.
Do you find the VoIP service reliable?
Also, what SIP registrar are you using?
Regards,
Ian
DrayTek routers and VoIP
I can't speak for the actual router as I don't use a DrayTek, but I do use SIP. The service I use is Sipgate. I never make any calls on SIP, only recieve them, so its great for me. You get free voicemail with custom greeting and the messages e-mailed to you as attachements, free PTSN phone number with area code of your choice, and a service which I have never found to faulter be it SIP to SIP or SIP to PTSN. Call quality is always clear even when you go through the proxy. You also get PTSN freephone numbers for free, so its great to call your PTSN providor on their freephone number if you have line issues. All in all as a completely free service unless you make outgoing calls to the PTSN I think its fab

Hi beneyre
Thanks for you offer of help, to anybody who needs assistance with their Draytek
Rather than give you a 'shout' The way it works is for you to keep an eye on the forum and see if anybody is asking for help.
They will not necessarily see you post in this thread telling them to give you a shout!
Plus while looking through the forum regularly you may be able to help out with a unrelated Draytek problem
