It vary's on how long it takes to drop out but usually about every 6 hours

My modem / router

nb5plus4w is 192.168.1.1-----PAP2 192.168.1.9
--------PC 192.168.1.4---------

Wireless is turned off and I have tried advanced port forwarding and simple port forwarding, I changed cables etc etc

Any help?????

Hi and welcome to RouterTech.

It's not the same hardware but have you tried reading the thread viewtopic.php?t=772&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0 ? It might give you some ideas.

Manuual IPTABLES entry fixes the problem

Post by andytof47 » Fri Apr 13, 2007 1:55 pm

For anyone wondering

If you place a rule in IPTABLES from the telnet login you will have no problems thereafter :P

I made another post about this type of thing so get more details from that

and i had to do a complete factory reset and manually typed in the settings after a fw updated. that cured my problem.

it must have got a bit confused in its settings between fw updates. I overlooked my own policy.. Thats to do a full factory/memory reset after any firmware update.

good luck.

RTFM
