Hi all, was wondering if someone can help with this. I have been now using RT2.2 for about a week and have two minor issues.
Issue 1 is reported in a Topic under firmware.
Issue 2 is firewall related so i am asking it here:
In RT2.2 can i set an IP based Time Window rule on the firewall. For those who remember the old Origos I'm sure you know what i mean as this was a feature on nearly all the version with the SPI firewalls included.
Basically i want to deny access to the net for 1 (or more, or range) of IPs/MACs during a certain day/time ?
Possible ?
thanks.
Andy

Hi,
There's no scheduled rule based acces control/filtering available with the f/w as standard.
However if you know your way around iptables then in theory you could use the built in autoexec.sh and cron scheduling features to run a job which sets up the appropriate iptables entries that you require and removes them when not required.
