I have a NO-IP acconut configured on my D-Link router firmware and i can't ping it like this #ping example.no-ip.org remotely. How can i configure the router to access my Linux machine via SSH remotely :?:

Ideally, you should use a VPN. Search for "VPN" here: firmware-faq/features.html

I read it before (firmware-faq/OpenVPN%20RouterTech%20HowTo.pdf). I need some one to explain it more easy step by step. I really need help from someone expert or post a link to an article, please. :shakehead:

If the openvpn PDF file is too complicated, then I can not see anything that will be easy (except perhaps VPN via pptp). Additionally, there are scores of "howtos" on vpn via ssh tunnels. A quick search on google for "vpn via ssh tunnel" revealed (among others) these;
http://www.linuxjournal.com/content/ssh ... echies-vpn
http://bodhizazen.net/Tutorials/VPN-Over-SSH/
http://www.howtogeek.com/118145/vpn-vs. ... re-secure/

Take your pick or check the other hits.
