Port Forwarding Help

Post by Arcticcat340 » Mon Apr 27, 2015 12:05 am

Hi,

I have at&t uverse internet and they gave me a 5031NV-030 modem router combo and I have a ethernet cable run from that router to a linksys wrt54g running dd-wrt. My problem comes in when I have a computer connected to the linksys and want to port forward. How would I go about doing this?

Thanks,

Ideally you put the modem into 'Bridge Mode' then let the dd-wrt router have the real Internet IP and configure port-forwarding in its GUI. You can only full-bridge pppoe, for other protocols the modem may some form of half-bridge, or failing that run with double nat _ dmz directed to your PC.
